Lutheran Retirement Home is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our night shift team. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Answer resident call lights promptly and courteously.
• Monitor and report changes in residents' physical, mental, and emotional conditions.
• Take and record vital signs as assigned.
• Assist residents with positioning, transfers, and ambulation while maintaining safety standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies.
• Help keep resident rooms clean, organized, and comfortable.
• Provide compassionate and respectful care that promotes resident dignity and independence.
• Follow all infection control, safety, and resident rights guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of Iowa
• Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents safely.
